Paul is a man of many passions, two of which are advertising and beer. So, it’s not surprising that his is a life littered with advertising awards and empty beer cans. With 23 years of experience, he’s created work that’s intoxicated clients and consumers, alike. Paul joined Cornett in 1993 (before that he ran his own ad agency) and since that time has helped the agency create strong relationships with clients such as the Keeneland Association, University of Kentucky, Buffalo Trace Distillery and Applebee's.

When not creating award-winning work, Paul can be found taking in another passion; watching his two sons play baseball.

Since he was a little boy, Kip Cornett has had two dreams: to stand in the winner's circle at the Kentucky Derby and to found his own advertising agency. While the first dream has yet to be fulfilled (though Kip swears it one day will), the second has come true in spades.

In 1984, after a long, successful association with a respected Louisville agency, Kip created the Cornett Group, a small three-man Lexington advertising firm. In subsequent years, the Cornett Group grew into Cornett Advertising, and became one of Kentucky’s largest and most admired advertising agencies.

Today, Kip is recognized not only as a passionate and successful ad executive, but also as an engaged community leader. He is currently involved in several charitable causes and serves on the board of organizations like the YMCA, United Way of the Bluegrass, Leadership Kentucky, and the Lexington Area Sports Authority. Recently, Kip also gave back to his alma mater by single-handedly funding the University of Kentucky English Department’s Visiting Writing Series.

Kip lives in Lexington with his wife Ellen and children Charlotte and Davis. He also owns several thoroughbreds. He hasn’t yet acquired a Derby contender, but, knowing his tenacity, it’s only a matter of time before he comes out smelling like a rose on Derby Day.

Never tiring, never standing still, Tracie Schlich uses her prodigious energy to create results for our clients.

As the Supervisor of our account team, and as an account executive Tracie has built a reputation as a solid conduit between clients and staff. But, she isn’t just a suit. Tracie is a big thinker and is always looking for new strategies to communicate with our clients' consumers. She’s proved it year-after-year by earning the respect of clients such as Keeneland and the Lexington Convention & Visitors Bureau and becoming one of Lexington’s most admired advertising professionals.

When not racing around the office, Tracie is racing about with her husband Joe, children Carson and Kennedy and their massive black lab Emmitt.
